There was no surprise when 11th ranked Sokol Pisek (4-12) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Opava (7-8) 78-68 on Saturday. Opava forced 27 Sokol Pisek turnovers. Forward Vojtech Gronsky (192-2009) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Micah Perkins chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Matyas Zita (198-2007) produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and Tomas Rybarik added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Opava maintains seventh position with 7-8 record. Loser Sokol Pisek keeps the eleventh place with 12 games lost. Opava will meet at home MS Academy (#9) in the next round. Sokol Pisek will play against Plzen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
